Become a MHFA Instructor

Do you want to become an Adult or Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor?” If that’s a “yes,” you’ve already done the most important part: you’ve decided to #BeTheDifference.

MHFA Instructors unite their communities, reduce negative attitudes about mental health and substance use challenges, build mental health literacy and teach others how they can help.

Our 3-day Instructor training courses are offered virtually and in-person. Each course costs $2,200 and discounts are available for existing Instructors and National Council members.

To begin your journey to becoming an Instructor, complete this form. A member of our team will review your submission and you will receive an email with instructions for completing the application within 7 days.

Once you’re accepted, you’ll receive more information on registering for an upcoming course and accessing course materials.
