Young people need mental health support and resources now more than ever before. Donate today and help bring teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) to every teen in the country.
Teen mental health matters.
One in five teens will have a serious mental health challenge in their lifetime. This means a teen you know might be struggling right now with a mental health or substance use challenge. Your donation helps young people learn life-saving skills and information so they can get support when it’s needed most.
tMHFA can change lives.
tMHFA teaches young people in grades 10-12, or ages 15-18, how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among their friends and peers. The training gives teens the skills to have supportive conversations with their friends—and when and how to get help from a responsible and trusted adult.
Your donation will make sure every teen across the country has access to this information and the skills to support their friends and peers in need.
|“Schools offering this training can save lives, families and communities. Regardless of how happy, smart or popular someone seems on the outside, everyone is fighting battles we have no idea about. tMHFA taught me that sometimes we need a reminder of what is important and the tools to make that a priority.” – Katie Ramboyong|
|“Since the training, I have been empowered to take a more active role in supporting those around me. When I see people struggling, I don’t just stand by and watch them sink into a pit of isolation. I use my training and go right there alongside them and be the person who listens to them and makes them feel less alone.” – Drew Voris|
When you make a financial donation to support tMHFA, you’re letting young people know that it’s OK to not be OK. You are helping to fund critical mental health training that will make a difference in their lives.
By donating $12.95, you will help give one teen the opportunity to take tMHFA and learn how to help their friends and peers in need.
Every young person deserves mental wellbeing. Thank you for your support to make this possible.
