What is the cost?

The National Council charges a flat fee of $35,000 to train 30 participants as instructors at your organization. If the host organization is a National Council member, they receive a 10% member discount, bringing the cost down to $31,500.  Options for 15 participants and existing instructors seeking their second certification are also available.

What does the onsite training fee include?

  • Pre-program planning and assistance
  • Trainer fees for two nationally certified trainers
  • Trainer travel and per diem costs
  • Trainer lodging
  • Program materials for each participant (participant manual, teaching notes, flash drive with program PowerPoint, handouts, etc.)
  • Printing, shipping and processing of training materials to host site
  • Additional supplies for training (art supplies, markers, tape, etc.)
  • Ongoing technical assistance and access to resources for instructors once they complete the training

What are the responsibilities of the host site?

The organization hosting the training is responsible for selecting and providing the location, recruiting participants and, if desired, providing catering during the week.

Please note that all selected participants for the training most submit an application to your agency for review using our standard document.
