Teen Mental Health First Aid (Teen MHFA) Instructors empower high school students ages 14-18 to support their peers, spot warning signs and seek help from a parent, guardian or trusted adult. Join one of our Instructor certification courses to bring Teen MHFA to a school or youth-serving organization near you. Candidates must be associated with an approved Teen MHFA site.

Become a Teen MHFA Site
Before you apply for a Teen Mental Health First Aid (Teen MHFA) Instructor training, your school or youth-serving organization must be an approved Teen MHFA Site. Complete our application form and the National Council’s team will help you determine whether Teen MHFA is a good fit for you. Individual Instructor candidates are not eligible to apply apart from an approved Teen MHFA site.
