Hosted Private Instructor Training

For organizations that would like to train a large number of participants as Adult and/or Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructors, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing can coordinate bringing an onsite private Instructor training to you!

What are the responsibilities of the host site?

  • The organization hosting the training is responsible for administration of the event including:
    • Selecting and providing the training location
    • Providing classroom materials including flip charts, projectors, audio-visual components and Internet
    • Recruiting and managing course participants
    • If desired, providing catering during the week
  • Please note that all selected participants must complete and pass the MHFA Instructor application process.
