“Mental Health First Aid at Work training has become a staple at Xylem. It has especially helped leaders, human resources, and environmental health, safety and security colleagues understand mental health challenges on a deeper level and given them the confidence and courage to handle any related situations that could potentially arise in the workplace.”

The National Council for Mental Wellbeing brought Mental Health First Aid to America in 2008. Since then, our Instructors have trained over 3 million First Aiders from all 50 states and U.S. territories. We have a goal to train 1 out of every 15 people in America in MHFA, ensuring that everyone has a close friend they can turn to when experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.
